Membership plans are care plans that dental practices offer directly to your patients. Patients pay a subscription fee to your practice. You design the plan and set the pricing. Most plans typically cover all preventive care and discounts on other treatments, but it's entirely up to you.

We integrate with Stripe for secure credit card and ACH payment processing. Stripe processes billions of dollars per year for millions of leading companies including Target, Lyft, OpenTable, and Unicef. Pearly partnered with Stripe for its industry-leading security and transparent pricing.
When a patient makes a payment through Pearly, a merchant processing fee is automatically deducted by Stripe from your payout amount. You can review Stripe's merchant processing fees here and they are outlined below:
Practices using Pearly in the United States can accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express Discover, JCB Diners Club, and UnionPay credit and debit cards. Patients can also pay with Apple Pay and Google Pay.
The credit card processing fee is 2.9% + $0.30 per successful payment processed.
For example, if a credit card payment of $100 is collected, the credit card processing fee would be $3.20 ($2.90 + $0.30). By leveraging Stripe, we can offer Pearly practice's straightforward merchant processing fees that remain consistent across credit types and payment amount.
Practices using Pearly also offer patients the ability to pay via Automated Clearing House (ACH) debits. Patients securely provide their bank account details using our integration with Plaid, which streamlines the ACH process.
The ACH debit fee is 0.8% per successful payment processed with a cap of $5.
For example, if a ACH payment of $100 is collected, the ACH processing fee would be $0.80. ACH is an advantageous payment method for larger transactions as a $5,000 ACH payment would max out the ACH fee at $5.

If a patient wants to enroll in your in-house membership program at your front desk or calling your practice, it only takes about 90-seconds!
Click the Sign Up Member link in the Home screen of your Pearly Portal and follow the prompts. You will enter the patient's information, select the membership plan, and add their credit card details. That's it!

In the Pearly Portal, simply enter the mobile phone or email on the home screen and click Invite. They will receive a text or email with a link to your Signup Site so they can review your in-house dental membership plan details and self-enroll.
This is a great way to promote your membership program to patients who are not ready to enroll at your office. They can view your program details from any device and enroll instantly.

When a membership fee is processed, your practice receives a direct deposit in as little as 48-hours depending on your settings.

We'll help you customize your Signup Site during the onboarding process, but it's easy to make adjustments any time. In the Pearly Portal, click on the Marketing tab on the left sidebar to access your Site settings.
